A few years ago, I did a video on YouTube about ghosting and it got me to thinking about those that do it and why? I mean we always talk about how crappy it feels to be ghosted but we rarely talk about why it really happens. It goes beyond being simply uninterested.  Ghosting isn't always the act of cowardice. I mean at its core, ghosting is potentially a trauma response and the avoidance of emotional unavailability in others even though the ghosted are emotionally stable.  Recently a friend brought to my attention that I had ghosted him on several occasions.  But if that wasn't bad enough, I got to thinking about the potential partners I had in the past and how I skated off in fear of the unknown. Only to end up with the worse possible jerks afterwards.Â
