 In his book Desert Walker, Denis Bartell recipient of the Order of Australia Medal and the Australian Geographic Adventurer of the Year Gold Medallion 1994 relives many of his adventures into the Outback of Australia.  Tag along with him as he walks solo across Australia, conquers mighty deserts on foot, boats 8000km down flooded inland waterways, first to cross Australia north to south in a solar powered vehicle and four wheel drives and rides camels through some of the harshest terrain in the world.
