We all have a mix of masculine and feminine qualities in us, but our athletic experiences and sport culture tend to push us to favor one over the other (any guesses which? ... ahem, masculine). In this episode Q and Mac dive into why that is, the benefits of finding a balance between the two, and the impacts of that balance on transitioning to life beyond sport. Get ready to hear about ringing phones, sandboxes, redefining success, and owning your authentic self!
Q is a mindset and performance coach and Founder & CEO of World Class; he's a former dual sport D-1 athlete with Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from Northwestern University. His passion for supporting ex-athletes comes from his storied experience with the concussion crisis in sport. Having battled Post-Concussion Syndrome for 6 years, the pivotal shift in his recovery came when he shifted his mindset from procrastinating & perfectionism to bold action & ownership of his identity. This subtle, yet powerful shift is what he instills in clients today via 1-on-1 coaching, group programming, and large-scale trainings & workshops, preparing world class athletes for world class leaders.
