With over 30 years of experience as a business owner specialising in sustainability, community development, and public architecture, Dr. Frewen has led major civic projects like Kansas City’s downtown civic centre and Ilus W. Davis Park. Her expertise spans urban design, architecture, foresight, and social change, making her a voice on how cities evolve in an increasingly complex world. In addition to serving as Chairperson of the Association of Professional Futurists, Dr. Frewen works with clients like UNESCO, US AID, IBM, and Hallmark, and contributes regularly to The Kansas City Star. She holds degrees in architecture, communications, and futures studies, and has been recognised as an AIA Fellow and Distinguished Alumna of the University of Kansas.
