Having unmet expectations leads to bitterness and frustration
Not only of others but of yourself ESPECIALLY
Ask each other 3 questions to determine expectations:
1. What do I expect of me?
2. What do I think YOU expect of me?
3. What do I expect from you?
Excercise:
- Write down answers separately
- Come together and review the answers, are they similar?
- If you need additional help (aka you disagree) find an uninterested 3rd party to be a part of the conversation
