This week we’re joined by one of Canada’s most accomplished marathoners Reid Coolsaet. Reid represented Canada at the 2012 and 2016 Olympics and holds a personal best of 2:10:28. Last weekend Reid raced the Xiamen Marathon in Siena, Italy in a final attempt to qualify for one last Olympics.
In this episode Reid takes us through that race and coming to terms with the fact that his Olympic chapter is now closed. He reflects on his illustrious career, the current state of Canadian running, and what gets him excited about the adventures to come.
