A core member of Canada's dominant 4x100 relay team throughout its multi-year global medal streak, Blake has announced himself as a contender in the individual events as well, becoming just the 6th man in Canadian history to eclipse the 10-second barrier in the 100m with his 9.97 clocking in Dessau, Germany last month.
