Hello, and welcome back to the Shadows Run podcast! 

This episode is part 2 of my conversation with father, grandfather, partner, friend, business owner, and leader in his community, Charlie Tilt.

In this half of our conversation we talk more about Charlie’s spiritual journey throughout his life, and then move in to a conversation about the men’s work he has been part of. We talk about the importance of modeling and creating spaces for healthy emotional expression for men in our culture, and how Charlie has charted the course for deeper connections with men in his own life. 

We close with some discussion around what it means to be an elder in our culture right now, and how Charlie is thinking about his own position within that role as he transitions into it. He shares some thoughts about seeking to be the mentor figure for others that he didn’t have growing up, and also about the importance of humility within that role.
