In this episode, we chat to Ravi Hammond who is an AI researcher, Software Engineer, entrepreneur, and community leader, whose love for gaming once led him down a rough path of academic struggles, but ultimately helped him discover his passion for programming and computers. From his early days of playing Minecraft, to learning how to achieve goals in RuneScape, Ravi honed his skills and became a master of the craft, eventually excelling in his studies at the University of Adelaide.

Despite the early setbacks, Ravi refused to give up and persevered to make his dreams come true. His hard work and dedication paid off, landing him internships at Google, Microsoft, Palantir, and Atlassian, as well as winning third-place in the NASA Space Robotics Challenge. Today, Ravi is an aspiring researcher in the world of AI, with plans to continue his studies as a PhD student overseas, and is one of the most driven and accomplished individuals we've had the pleasure of meeting.
