Self-Expression and Song as tools for TRANSFORMATION & SELF LOVE with Alyra Rose

Self-expression through song can be a doorway to our divine voice when our human form is struggling to figure it all out. Singing, writing and creating songs is a fun, explorative way to get into our consciousness and examine our belief systems. Some of these can be very outdated belief systems that are no longer serving us. One of the most important pieces of the creative process is allowing ourselves to freely express all our emotions in their raw unedited form. Emotions are ENERGY in MOTION. If we hold onto anger, sadness, resentment the energy has nowhere to go and can take root in our bodies which is how many diseases can form. Music has a way of hitting the release valve on these stored emotions and can allow us to create space for more healthy and empowering emotions if we so chose.

Alyra's journey with music has been inextricably linked to her study of the healing arts of yoga, Ayurveda, body work and her own journey of healing. After reaching rock-bottom at 19 and feeling very disillusioned by society it was a rediscovery of her passion for music that brought her back to life. She now shares her passion for healing and transformation through one on one coaching, workshops, retreats and live performances.

Named after the constellation Lyra, Alyra Rose is herself a constellation of creation. She is a life-long student of self-expression through the arts and a servant of the Muse and Muses. She has performed and played with artists such as Pamela Parker, Gina René, Siren's of Soul, Sharon Shannon of Ireland and many others. She also has a musical project with her dear sister Alyson Miller called Mirror Pool.

Her latest undertaking is learning how to record and produce her own music. She has hundreds of songs and is steadily working towards releasing them. Her latest track 'Divine' is her first self-produced song and can be found on all platforms.
