238. Thoughts on James Gunn's Superman Trailer

Okay SUPERmaniacs July 11th will be here before you know it! And we
will be ready to"look up!". James Gunn's new SUPERMAN movie is coming
at us faster than a speeding bullet. In this episode your hosts James,
and Joe take an x-ray look at the teaser trailer that hit before the
Holidays.What did we think? What were we looking for? What did we see
that surprised us? Superman/Clark. Lois Lane, Lex Luthor, The Daily
Planet, Metropolis, Smallville, The Fortress of Solitude--KRYPTO the
Superdog!!! We got fleeting, but eye-popping glimpses, of all that and
more!
    Will we once again believe "a man can fly'? Is this Superman ready
to dazzle a new generation of fans with heroic saves and mind-blowing
action?
    And most importantly will the "infant from Krypton" grow to be a
man of hope and aspiration? Lot's of questions--right? There's a lot
riding on this film. The new DC Studios has to deliver. I know what I
want from this film. Me, and yes the whole world--more then
ever--needs "a friend".
