This is one of the most important musical events that exists in South Dakota. Rapid City's, Summer Nights on 7th, has been a foundational part of Black Hills activities for 17 years. Now they are in danger of not securing their permits for the 2025 season because of a small group individuals who believe they're rights as a business super cede those of the 10,000's of visitors to the event held weekly in downtown Rapid City every summer.
I was fortunate enough to get a few minutes of time with Judd Nielsen the lead board member of Summer Nights and enemy #1 of the establishment that is the Rapid City Council.
Below you can find the email addresses of all current Council members so you can email them and let them know that you believe Summer Nights should stay right where it is at, in downtown Rapid City, South Dakota.
