On this week’s episode Ryan speaks to Irish novelist and killer crime writer Liz Nugent. Her latest book Strange Sally Diamond is out now in paperback and tells the story of a woman’s attempt to incinerate her father.

Amongst other things, Liz tells Ryan why she thinks crime fiction is so popular now and how a trip to hospital in America cost her $10,000!!

We also catch up with the female Gladiator winner Marie-Louise Nicholson, who told us about the process, how she got into it, meeting Bradley and Barney Walsh and private chef-ing for the high and mighty!
