There is a crack in everything, that’s how the light gets in.

Episode 26 with Thomas Dade. I really enjoyed this week's conversation. We get an insight into Tom's life and his story with the struggles of mental health and anorexia that involuntarily put him in the hospital and the recovery from that. We also get an insight into using ultra running as a coping mechanism from his child hood & mental health problems, all in which he is working through. He got vulnerable and shed a light on the true struggles of being a human being.

Some main key points from this week's episode:

- Bouts with mental health/depression/anorexia

- Body image

- How the Kokoda Trail changed his life

- Running the Coast to Kosti / Down Under 135 / Unreasonable east 200miler

- Slowing down and being in the now and staying grounded

- How to get through the pain and suffering for ultras and how it translates over to the mental health aspect

Enjoy the episode!
