Host Lance Bergeson breaks down Urbandale native Karissa Schweizer's Tokyo Olympic 5,000 finals race, and exits by former Iowa State runner Hillary Bor and ex-Iowa Central runner Adva Cohen in the 3,000 steeplechase first round. Lance talks about the many new faces are coming to the Runablaze Iowa team, as well as a new race team forming in eastern Iowa. And a new regular feature is announced featuring Caldwell, a former Waverly-Shell Rock and ISU standout who discusses the new track and field assistants at ISU and the school's future in the Big 12.
