Wakefield strike a blow, Saints rock the Rhinos and high praise for the Sydney Roosters

We're straight into it with Wakefield and Wigan on Friday night (1.46) before we pick up the highly anticipated clash between St Helens and Leeds Rhinos (10.04) and Huddersfield's trip to the Warrington Wolves (18.40). It's then on to Leigh's trip to Perpignan (26.44), Salford's home clash with Hull FC (32.48) and a recap of Thursday night's game between Castleford and Hull KR (41.04).

After a quick recap of the Championship and League One, it's then on to the NRL where this is praise for Mark Nawanqanitawase (52.02), a valiant Penrith Panthers side, a resurgent Brisbane Broncos outfit and questions over whether its a season too early for the Wests Tigers and South Sydney Rabbitohs to challenge!
