In this episode of the Royal Remnant Podcast, I open up about something that’s been weighing heavily on my heart: the rise of Islamophobia and nationalism within Western Christianity, especially in evangelical circles.
As an ex-Muslim who now follows Christ, I’ve had a front-row seat to the disconnect between what Jesus taught—love your enemies—and how many Christians treat Muslims today. I talk about the roots of this fear and hatred, from the post-9/11 fear culture to Christian Zionism and political ideologies that have slowly crept into the Church.
I also offer practical ways to overcome these biases: from engaging in real, personal interactions with Muslims to stepping out of our comfort zones and visiting Muslim-majority countries. I hope to challenge believers to realign their hearts with the teachings of Jesus—to walk in peace, love, and radical compassion.
This conversation isn’t about blame—it’s about reflection, repentance, and returning to the heart of Christ.
