002 // Rony Mikhael // Finding Layers of Commonality

Rony has had an interesting life. In the intro, I mention that he was born in Egypt which is a mistake on my part. Later in the episode, Rony tells us how he was born in LA to Egyptian parents but grew up in and Kuwait before moving to San Fransisco because of the Gulf war and now resides in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

He is the creative director at a creative agency, is the co-owner of Sly & Sons Coffee Roasters and is raising a family here in Canada.

We dive into a lot of different subjects in this episode. Things like getting started in the creative industry, how to be a good leader, how to build authentic working relationships and overcoming anxiety whether it be in your personal life or your work life.
