26. The Case of the Return to Live Shows

We've been waiting months for this - our band, Nice Horse, is able to play live shows again!

Over the past few weeks we've played a bunch of shows with all different sizes of venues and crowds - from cardboard cutouts to massive sold-out tents. After being on hold for so long due to the global pandemic, these moments have been packed with excitement and so many emotions (one of us can't even stop crying - bet you can't guess who).

Tune in as we get back to work after a year and a half away! We kick it off with our experiences as the featured performer at the Calgary Influential Women in Business (CIWB) Awards, then chat about the the historic King Eddy in Calgary (where we're starting to feel like the unofficial house band), reminisce about being treated like rock stars at the Banff Springs Hotel, and wrap it all up with some stories from our first-ever time playing the infamous Nashville North tent at the Calgary Stampede.
