On this episode, we are thrilled to welcome not just one but TWO of our favourite drag queens!
Anita Wigl’it is an Auckland native, competitor in the first season of RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under, the host of the reality TV show House of Drag, and the the owner and resident queen of Auckland’s famous Caluzzi Cabaret. Anita is also an active member of the Royal New Zealand Navy and a classically-trained trumpet player, so she and Brandi get along pretty well... maybe a little TOO well.
Jezebel Bardot, originally from Northern Québec, is Toronto's French-Canadian drag performing artist. She's a former gymnast and power tumbler for Canada’s national team, and is now a #OneTeam ambassador with the Canadian Olympic Committee, an initiative which fights gender-based discrimination, homophobia, biphobia, transphobia, and all other types of discrimination in sport. Most importantly (to us), Jezebel is also the star of Nice Horse's "Hot Mess" music video. We explain why Jez has almost definitely seen us all naked, and she tells us about how Grindr led to a pretty cool celebrity encounter.
