Dre has a very unique and different story than most – he grew up in the streets of Chicago and joined a gang when he was 12 years old, where his initiation was participating in a drive-by shooting. Eventually he and his triplet brothers decided to pave their own path and joined the U.S. Navy Academy. Today Dre is a successful real estate investor and national best-selling author, recently releasing his third book – Prove Them Wrong. Rich and Dre discuss his experience growing up, how he got into multifamily, and what it was like buying his first deal. They dive into permitting processes, short-term rental licenses, and both of their passions of mentoring youth.
