1)Wagner Group Chief Killed in Plane Crash?: Last week, while on a flight of his private jet from Moscow to St. Petersburg, Yevgeny Prigozhin died in a plane crash. The cause of the crash is still unknown, but it is suspected Russian President Putin was involved. Putin has a history of extracting revenge on anyone who is disloyal, and Prigozhin led a mutiny attempt two months ago. If he is really dead, what happens to his Wagner Group?
2)90th Anniversary of Stalin's Holodomor Genocide in Ukraine: Stalin engaged in a mass starvation of Ukraine's farmers or 'kulaks' in 1932-1933, causing millions to die of hunger. In 2008 a Holodomor Museum was opened on the banks of the Dnieper River in Kiev, near the famous Perchevsk Lavra Monastery, to remember this genocide. What happened back then, and is that why Ukraine doesn't want to be ruled by Putin today?
3)BRICS Summit Leading to It's Expansion?: At last week's BRICS summit held in S. Africa, they announced the group would expand its membership to include Saudi Arabia, UAE, Iran, Egypt, Ethiopia and Argentina. This seems to shift it's focus a bit towards the Middle East. Also, they announced more efforts at 'de-dollarization'. What is going on?
