1)The Wagner Group: Printed on the badge of the notorious Russian mercenary fighting-group named 'Wagner Group' are the initials 'PMC' and a human skull. PMC stands for 'private military contractor'. But is the Wagner Group just a private-sector security contractor,--- like America's Black Water or DynCorp? Or is it really a secret combat army or even a terrorist organization?
2)US Navy Destroyer Sails Though Taiwan Straits: This week a US Navy Destroyer, the USS Milius, conducted a 'freedom of navigation exercise' through international waters between China's mainland and the Island of Taiwan. It claims it was just another a traditional exercise of international right to free passage, but PRC is protesting loudly it violated Chinese waters.
3)Is the Golan Heights Really Part of Israeli Sovereign Territory?: The Golan Heights was captured during the 1967 War, and is seen by international law as Syrian territory. But Israel passed an internal law in 1981 claiming it was officially 'annexed' into Israel. In 2019, President Trump without Congressional agreement declared the US 'recognized' Israeli sovereignty over Golan Heights. But the rest of the world still considers it disputed territory or Syrian owned.
