1)United Kingdom's New King to be Crowned: In the coming week, King Charles III (formerly Prince of Wales) will be crowned. Will he be the King of the People, as some are claiming? Why does UK need a king or queen in the 21st century anyway? Who pays the costs for all his royal activities?
2)Is the Wagner Group Ready to Throw In the Towel in Ukraine?: Yevgeny Prigozhin, the head of the Wagner Group, is threatening to withdraw from the fight in Ukraine's hotly contested Mariupol area if he doesn't get more ammunition from the Russian military. Is this a sign the Russian military is giving up on Wagner's assistance, or sees Wagner as a rival and threat to the military's dominant role in combat?
3)Will Ukraine Strike Putin's Victory Day Parade on May 9th?: Since WWII, the Russians have had a Victory Day parade to celebrate their defeating Nazi Germany. Under the USSR and later under Putin, the Russian military made a huge display of its weapons and troops, to reflect its strength and grandeur. But Russia has most troops already in Ukraine, and is not looking so grand these days. Will Ukraine use the parade as an opportunity to send a signal to Russia?
