Read on for today's agenda below prepared by David (thank you very much). - Retired US Diplomat to 5 different nations  David Hunter shares his knowledge, passion, interest, and experience.

1)Was Biden's "Summit of The Americas" Almost A Disaster?: The LA, California event hosted by Pres. Biden last week was an attempt to 'reset' relations with his Southern neighbors after the Trump era dust-ups. But he refused to allow Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua to attend---and these 3 countries represent most of the immigrants coming to USA right now. As a protest, Mexican President Obrador refused to attend, boycotting the US-hosted Summit. And Venezuela's President Nicholas Maduro went to Iran at same time, and made some trade and defense deals with Iran. Why did this happen?

2)China Defense Minister Issued 'Red-Line' Statement about Taiwan in Keynote Address at International Security Conference: The Chinese Defense Minister, General WEI Fenghe as keynote speaker at an international defense conference attended by US Sec. of Defense Lloyd Austin threatened China will 'smash to smithereens' Taiwan if it declares independence from mainland China, and promised to start a war with anyone who dares split Taiwan and China. Should we be worried?

3)Does Putin Think He is Peter the Great?: On the 350th birthday of the Russian Tsar Peter the Great,--- who built St. Petersburg, ---Putin made statements that this is Russia's manifest destiny to rule as an imperial empire, and his actions in Ukraine are partly to restore Russia's former greatness. Is this delusional thinking, or just clever geopolitics?
