1)  Why is Putin pushing for Control over Ukraine?   Putin has made claims that Ukraine should not become a NATO member.   It threatens Russian security.  But he also is trying to annex Crimea fully into Russian territory,  and supports 'independent state status' for territory in Eastern Ukraine.  Does he have a point that these Russian-speaking areas should be returned to control of Russia or become independent?

2)  Who is Influencing Putin in his Decisions on Invading Ukraine?:   The Western media suggests that Putin is in control over the decision to invade Ukraine.  Is that true?  Doesn't the Russian military, the intelligence service and other groups have any say?  If so,  what are they saying? 

3)  Will  Western NATO forces be Able to Deter Putin?:   The NATO members seem to have gained strength in facing down this Russian aggression.  Has Putin miscalculated in his hopes to fragment Europe from the USA? 

4)  Is Pakistan Threatened by the Taliban's Growing Power in Afghanistan?:  For years, Pakistan supported the Afghan Taliban, and allowed their high command to operate from Quetta,  Pakistan.  Reportedly the Pakistan intelligence even helped arm and train Taliban fighters.  But now the Taliban inside Pakistan is causing trouble and attacking the Pakistan Army.  They want nuclear-armed Pakistan to become a true 'Islamic Caliphate'.  What is going on?
