They discuss the importance of knowing your audience when it comes to pitching to journalists, and how sometimes the best coverage for a client can often come from the least obvious sources. Jacki also discusses her own experiences of pitching in PR, both to the media and to prospective clients, and Lyle outlines the many parallels between pitching as a PR professional and how actors pitch themselves to directors in the acting industry!
