According to the CDC, 1 in 54 children are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). In this episode, Marco and Jessica discuss their family's journey in regards to ASD. Starting with their initial clinical experiences way back as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) students, they move into life with a child of their own on the spectrum. The early years, the initial indicators, the rollercoaster of evaluations and assessments, the challenges and joys, and the battle for a clear clinical diagnosis are explored before discussing everyday life for the whole family and the way ahead.
