Multifamily Real Estate is a world that is unlike most businesses, it is a community of people with similar mindsets, goals, hopes, and dreams. Even though we are told from the beginning that business has no emotion... without building relationships how do you have trusting partnerships?

Suzy Sevier and Michael Barnhart go in-depth on the importance of being vulnerable in the business setting and how being open to admitting mistakes and sharing opinions are a key to success.  Because only when you become truly vulnerable and open up do the important conversations happen.

Each business partnership is similar to a marriage in the sense that you are committed to each other for a set period of time and included are everyone’s emotions.

-How can we integrate emotions into real estate? And how does it build better success?

-How is building a partnership in real estate similar to marriage?

-What opportunities come from being vulnerable? How can we encourage vulnerability in the investment space?

-With opportunity comes new challenges in all aspects of life.

Suzy Sevier and Michael Barnhart are the Founders of Adventurous Real Estate Investors. Their adventure began at a TEDx event — the theme was Reset — and it changed their lives. They took the event to heart and used that theme — Reset — as a launching point to regain control of their lives, secure financial freedom, give back to the community, and discover their “why.” They want to share this journey with others by offering investment opportunities, and to give back by mentoring others along the way to help them reset and achieve their freedom.
