108. Concrete Isn't Just Concrete, It's The Foundation Of Every Construction Project - With Kyle Vander Linden Owner of W&N Development

In this episode of The Real Build, I sat down with Kyle Vander Linden of W&N Development.  Kyle was the first concrete contractor Ive had on the podcast.  I was excited to have him on and talk about his process and how important it is within every construction project.

W&N Development was initially established as a secondary company to Midway Homes.  Kyles's parents Wayne and Nancy had always been self-employed and started with doing mobile home development. They grew the company into owning multiple mobile home sales lots. 

W&N Development was established to take over the site development side, and They eventually moved into modular home builds.  Since then, W&N has expanded into concrete pumping, Butler Pre-Engineered Steel bldgs, asphalt seal coating, landscape curbing, and several other side ventures. A vast majority of W&N's work happens on the local military bases, but they also provide services for the private industry. 

The company has grown from 10-15 employees to around 80 employees, with some of those being around nearly since the beginning of the Fort Lewis Journey!
