  • Ariel Ferreira, a living organ donor, has had many accomplishments throughout his young career. His progressive work and support to local nonprofit groups and small businesses has helped strengthen and enhance many communities. Mr. Ferreira is no stranger to the private and public sector. As Director of MWBE services of the NY Women's Chamber of Commerce (NYWCC), he provided technical assistance, workshops, and marketing resources to Minority and Women owned businesses in order to acquired procurement contracts from city and state agencies.  In 2003, as one of the many acknowledgments, he received a Proclamation Award from the New York City Council for his outstanding services and contributions to the City of New York.


  • In 2012, Ariel founded UpStep, Inc, a creative marketing and project management firm that focuses on influencing sales through use of various marketing tools and completing projects within time and budget. In addition, he worked on a one year branding initiative developed in partnership with the NYC Department of Small Business Services, School of Visual Arts, & the Washington Heights BID to drive awareness of the businesses, culture, arts, and beauty of Washington Heights and Inwood. In addition, his expertise in business, allowed him to help many entrepreneurs transform their ideas into successfully established businesses.


  • Today, through his financial firm, Ariel instills a peace of mind in families and businesses by providing them with the financial education and services needed to secure their future. In addition, Ariel has trained over hundreds of licensed financial professionals in various states along the East Coast. His passion is to close the financial literacy gap to ensure the betterment and security of our future generations.


As a diehard New York Yankees’ Fan, Ariel resides in the Bronx with his beautiful wife and three-year-old son.

  • Starlin Torres is a first-generation college graduate from The University at Buffalo State College, Starlin Torres went on to obtain his Bachelor of Science Economics with a concentration in Finance. Starling has taken on the role of helping others that cross paths with him to become better individuals in life. As he endured many life challenges, he assumed the responsibility of the older brother to three younger siblings as a positive role model. While attending college he always knew that he wanted to be in a position where he is able to educate people on finance. This idea came about in his sophomore year of college. He wanted to become a “Financial Advisor”.     
  • Throughout his career, Starling has worked predominantly in the financial sector. Having worked for banks such as; Bank of America, as a Mortgage Servicing Specialist II, Keybank, as a back-office sales representative and left the company as a Personal Banker,
  • He enjoys giving back to his communities. While attending high school he volunteered at the local YMCA to connect with the younger generation, volunteered at a soup kitchen while attending college on big holidays to provide a meal to those less fortunate. His fraternity Beta Sigma Kappa Afro-Latino fraternity adopted a High Way in Western New York where he went out to clean the high way in his leisure time. One of his favorite volunteer events was at Cradle Beach Camp for children ages 8-16 with disabilities and children from low-income families where he had to paint the cabins for the upcoming summer stay.
