firm for entrepreneurs. Lee Kantor is also the host of the popular Dr Fitness and the Fat Guy show
and several other Atlanta-based radio shows.

This afternoon we spoke with John Eckberg, a career journalist with 28 years of experience in the
challenging field of daily newspaper reporting. A graduate of Ohio University,
he has been a business reporter at The Cincinnati Enquirer for more than a
decade, where he has covered numerous beats including federal courts,
investigative reporter, feature writing, neighborhood columns and urban
development. He currently covers the topics of retail and marketing and is
charged with following developments at Macy's Inc., Scripps Networks
Interactive, the E.W. Scripps Co., and the Kroger Co. Widely published, his work
has appeared in The New York Times, Newsweek, USA Today and many other American
print and Web publications. A former weekly newspaper managing editor at the
Canal Fulton Signal News, he is the author
of The Success Effect: Uncommon Conversations with America's Business
Trailblazers (Sterling & Ross; 2008). He explained his BIG JIVE theory. And he told us the 3 things that make a good story. 1- Be Dramatically Different 2- Have Overt Appeal to Reader 3- Be Credible.  Other projects he has under development include The Mud Daddy Chronicles, a 265-page recipe book
and fishing memoir of 25 years of annual fishing trips; and Pot of Gold, a
