Imagine taking the plunge into entrepreneurism, attaining big contracts with clients, and then the world shuts down and your original plan goes out the window! How do you adjust from that?

Adrian Sauvageot, a resident of Penetanguishene in Ontario, Canada (North Simcoe) shares how his world got flipped upside down, and how he pivoted into building his real estate portfolio during the pandemic. With a background in marketing, Adrian left Toronto and started his own agency in the Midland/Penetanguishene region, only to have the pandemic hit and most of his clients cancel their contracts.

Adrian is also a member on the board of the Economic Development of North Simcoe. He shares his insights on what his entrepreneurial journey has been like in the area, advice for those looking to start businesses in the area, and some of the cool features that can ONLY be found in the area. We also talk about how paying attention to Canadian Politics and how the Federal Government's spending habits played a role in the decision to scale out his real estate business.
