“The truth is…I am Iron Man.” With those seven words, and commercial success, a cinematic universe was born and the film industry as we know it changed forever. This week on The Project Infinite Podcast, it isn’t so much a Film Retrospective but a Film Legacy as we discuss the character that laid the foundation for the MCU as we know it: Iron Man. From the generational casting of Robert Downey Jr. to trusting the keys of the infant MCU with Jon Favreau we discuss just how unlikely the MCU as we know it to be today was to succeed.
