Over the weekend, Stone (my fiance) & I decided to push ourselves on a long run. That long run turned into a 1/2 marathon.
Why? Just to prove to ourselves that we could. Running is more mental than it is physical & the entire experience helped me understand that we could do SO MUCH MORE THAN WE THINK.
It's less about the 1/2 marathon & more about the point that when you are in PAIN & when things get extremely uncomfortable, you can keep going.
Most of us STOP far before we need to.
Everything you want is on the other side of hard. GET UNCOMFORTABLE & push for more.
