Those days when you feel like shit are going to happen. Whether you are being hard on yourself or, legit, things have been crappy. When this happens to me, and it happens more then you'd think, I try to completely separate myself from the thoughts I am having and try to almost reset my mind by doing something I like.
For me, something I like is watching a quick 20-30 minute show like Modern Family, or if it is decent outside going out and getting some sun for a few minutes. This way I can refresh my mind, and when I return to what I was doing I have can more easily see things realistically as I am no longer in the weeds of my own mind.
