Progress is incrementally doing things that help you move towards achieving your goal.
From a workout perspective this means improving your workouts. By improving, I mean progressing them based on the criteria of your goal. 1 rep by 1 rep you can improve what you are doing and slowly but surely see lasting changes.
From a routine perspective it is about taking small actions that help build your routine, it could be slowly adding times/days you go to the gym. It could be starting to wake up earlier, it coudl be getting things ready the night before.
Progress is about taking small steps so that you can look back and quantifiably see results.
