Azure Data Lake reaches Public Preview

Data Lake is made up of 2 parts, analytics and storage. The analytics portion is based on Apache YARN and supports Azure Active Directory access. The service is only billed while jobs are running against the analytics engine. The storage prtion is based on HDFS.

U-SQL

U-SQL was designed to ease the learning curve for Big Data and is based on SQL and C#.
