God's Word, the Bible is alive and active.  It has deep meanings and often is mulidemensional.  Holy Spirit brings that new revelation beyond just what appears to be a story.  In this parable, the theme of individual responsibility and accountability to be ready to meet Jesus also extends into all facets of our life.
