We have finally made it to the end of Blackbeard's, aka Edward Teach's, story. The governors of the east coast states had had just about enough of his shenanigans. Since he was hanging out on the coast of N.C, one governor sent some of his best men to find the pirate captain and take him out. And find him they did. 

Many years later there have been reports of apparitions, lights, and even ghostly howls that scream through the night made in and around the Outer Banks where he spent most of his time. Many legends say it is Blackbeard forever seeking to find the one thing he lost that he holds most dear. His head.
