In the 1850's a doctor decided to build him a house. Well, a plantation at the time, but a house today. 

It took many years for the home to be completed, and for the family to take up residence. But once they did, they realized they were not the first in residence. 

From the 1800's to today there are reports of a ghost. One might think they would be reports of soldiers, but nay.
