Brett Botelho, author, speaker, and aspiring U.S. Paralympic snowboarder joins THE PARABLES in our most powerful episode to date. Diagnosed at the age of 7 with CIDP (chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy), Brett shares how he battled the disease both physically and mentally everyday, surviving multiple surgeries and eventually electing to amputate his left leg. Always looking ahead despite his health and circumstances, Brett shares how hope has allowed him to continue to enjoy his love for snowboarding and now train for the U.S. Paralympic snowboarding team.
