Justin Lee is a 7 year vet police officer, from Illinois. He's a father and husband and in his words, "vertically challenged and tactically heavy".
Justin and I discuss many things and he explained how a childhood incident involving his brother and sister, played a part in him wanting to get into law enforcement.
Justin also talked about something you don't hear many police officers talk about, their feelings. He says it was his father who taught him, that you have to get those feelings out and not hold them inside.
We also touch on the subject of mental health. Justin stated that he often has to unplug and take time off from the job, just to recharge.
