Liberty University, my alma mater, had a saying, “Ring By Spring.” A ring by spring was normal on our campus as a way to help Christian students focus on marriage instead of pre-marital sex. The pressures of marriage were far beyond my campus grounds. What’s the rush? And is this a good or bad idea when we don’t really know who we’re marrying?
