In this episode Devon sits down with Austin Eckert to discuss the tie-in video game for Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines for XBox/PS2. Even though the game received pretty awful reviews upon its release, (you’ll hear some excerpts in the Time Machine Time segment) the studio actually got Arnold Schwarzenegger to lend his voice and likeness to the game this time around. Arnie even filmed a couple additional scenes for it. There has been no shortage of Terminator video games since the first film burst into theatres in 1984, and by the time the third Terminator film came out in 2003, video games had come a long way. Austin and Devon discuss the weirdest bits of the game, break down the ways in which Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines nails and fails its source material.
