OMGP: Star Wars Episode 3: The Revenge of the Sith

In this episode of the Obligatory Movie Game Podcast series, Devon sits down with Hudson to discuss the official tie-in game for Star Wars Episode 3: The Revenge of the Sith. Devon and Hudson both played this game when it came out, but they’ve played a lot of newer Star Wars games since, and like the special effects of the prequels (though perhaps not quite as jarringly) the game shows its age a bit now. Gameplay aside, the game serves as a greatest hits compilation of the film’s action sequences, and it expands upon a few of the moments that only get hinted at in the film itself. Devon and Hudson take a deep dive into this nostalgic staple from their childhoods, while taking note of the ways in which the game nails and fails the plot, characters, and setting of the film that it’s based on.
