Happy Shark Week! To close out Shark Week, Devon and Jackson sit down to discuss the tie-in Playstation 2 game for Finding Nemo. Even though they both love the classic Pixar film, they agree that it wouldn’t be the easiest movie to adapt into a thrilling video game, given its lack of a main villain, and the overall lack of combat in the story. The game makes the most of the chase sequences and takes some plays from the Superman 64 playbook, adding an absurd amount of pointless rings for Marlin, Dory and Nemo to swim though. Even though Finding Nemo isn’t much of a power fantasy, it adapts the characters, settings and plot of the film well, and there are some goofy things added in to keep things bizarre.
