BOYG 14: Nathan White vs. Slashers, Audiobooks and the Famicom

In this episode Devon sits down with Nathan White (visual artist, graphic designer, and member of Art on Fire) to chat about slashers leading up to Halloween. As one of the organizers behind Slasher Cinema, Nathan discusses some of the most memorable public screenings. Having both read multiple books by Chuck Palahniuk, Devon and Nathan discuss the author’s style, examining some of his lesser known works, and breaking the first and second rule of Fight Club. They also discuss epic fantasy series such as The Wheel of Time, and the Malazan Book of the Fallen, and Nathan defends listening to the audiobook versions. Devon and Nathan bond over snatching up video games before their prices get jacked up, and Nathan highlights some special items from his collection of Japanese Nintendo products.
