Bawating 'The Gathering Place' | Batchewana

For many years, Bawating has been a place for Anishinaabe people to gather so we can trade, fish, swap stories, and share knowledge. True to its name, it is also where the signing of the Robinson Huron Treaty took place on Sept 9th, 1850.
