In this episode, I interview Stan Partlow. Stan spent 25 years in law enforcement (4 years with the FBI and 21 years with the city of Columbus). He has successfully transitioned out of law enforcement and has been working for AEP, one of the leading electrical companies in the United States, for the last 15 years. Stan recently retired from his job as VP Chief Security Officer at AEP, but is still very active in the service of supporting others through multiple roles.
During our chat, we cover it all. From considering the timing of your transition to truly knowing your WHY behind leaving law enforcement, Stan shares so many valuable questions for you to reflect upon as you begin your journey. Additionally, if you are worried about the interview/hiring process, Stan gives some great advice on how to stand out.
Thank you Stan for your service to our nation and the city of Columbus, Ohio. The continued impact you have on so many is truly inspiring! Make sure to connect with Stan on LinkedIn HERE.
